Plans are underway for the annual Tour of Homes to be held in the beautiful mountain community of Big Canoe on May 2 and 3, 2008, from 8:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The event is open to the public on May 3, with transportation provided for our guests from the Wildcat parking area to the Tour Marketplace and then on to the lovely homes featured on the Tour.
Sponsored annually by the Big Canoe Chapel Women's Guild, over 350 volunteers come together to showcase this lovely community and for the purpose of raising funds to directly benefit charities in Pickens and Dawson Counties. Over the past 19 years, the Guild has donated more than $693,000 to worthy causes dedicated to meeting the physical and spiritual needs of our neighbors.
